Completing an event

How to submit the completion report and send an event for approval.

When the on-site work is finished, the assignee submits a completion report to let the event owner know the job is done and ready for review.

  1. Open the event and go to the Completion tab.

  2. Answer the required questions. Questions marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory and must be completed before you can submit.

  3. Click Submit.

Submitting the completion report changes the event's status to Awaiting Approval. The event owner and collaborators are notified that the event is ready for review.

Submitting a completion report cannot be undone. Make sure all required information is entered before clicking Submit.

What happens next

After submission, the event moves to Awaiting Approval and is reviewed by the event owner or a manager. They can approve the event, mark it as not completed, or mark it as completed with issues.

Who fills in the completion report?

The completion report is typically filled in by the assignee (installer or vendor) who carried out the work on site.

Can I edit the completion report after submitting?

No. Once submitted, the completion report cannot be changed. The event status moves to Awaiting Approval and only the reviewer can take the next action.
