Approving a completed event

How to review and finalize an event after the completion report is submitted.

After an assignee submits the completion report, the event moves to Awaiting Approval. As the event owner or a manager, you review the report and decide how to close the event.

  1. Open the event and go to the Completion tab.

  2. Review the answers submitted in the completion report.

  3. Choose one of the options:

    • Complete: confirms the work was finished successfully. The event status changes to Completed.

    • Not Completed: marks the event as unfinished. You can choose to close it as is, or close it and create a revisit event to address outstanding work.

Once an event is marked as Completed or Not Completed, the status cannot be changed. You can still edit event details for documentation purposes.

Creating a revisit from a not-completed event

If the work was not finished and follow-up is needed, you can create a revisit event directly from the completion screen. The revisit is linked to the original event and carries over relevant details so the follow-up team has full context.

Completed and Not Completed events are hidden from the event list by default. Adjust your filters to include them if you need to review past work.
