Assigning someone as responsible for an incident means they are accountable for following up and resolving it. You can assign responsibility when you first log the incident, or at any point afterward.
Assigning responsibility when logging an incident
When adding an incident, use the Responsible field to assign a team member. Select any full user from the dropdown.
Assigning or changing responsibility afterward
To assign or change the responsible person on an existing incident:
Open the event and go to the Issues tab.
Find the incident and click to open it.
Update the Responsible field and save.
You can also update responsibility in bulk from the Incidents page. Select multiple incidents using the checkboxes, then use the Change responsible bulk action.
The Incidents page shows the responsible person for each incident in the Responsible column, making it easy to see at a glance who owns what.
