How you’re billed for featuring
There’s no separate bill for The Oblist Ads. The only cost is the higher commission on featured pieces that sell — it’s simply reflected in the commission applied to those order lines, the same way your standard commission already works.
No upfront payment, no fixed fee, no budget.
The higher rate applies only to featured pieces, and only on completed sales.
Your total commission is always capped at 40%.
Seeing the detail
On each order and its commission documents, featured lines are clearly marked “Boosted”, with the exact rate applied per line — so you can always see what was charged and why.
The Featured commitment fee
If you reject a featured order line, a €50 Featured commitment fee applies (see The Featured commitment fee). These appear in the Payments section of your dashboard:
shown as a negative amount with a clear penalty label,
with the reason, the related order and piece, and the status,
and, when applicable, a secure payment link to settle it.
When a fee is charged automatically vs by link
Card on file → charged automatically.
No card on file → you receive a secure payment link; you can also open it from the penalty’s detail page in Payments.
Questions about a charge
If a commission rate or a fee looks wrong, open the order (or the penalty in Payments) to see the per-line detail, then reply to the notification or contact support with the order number. Legitimate fees can be waived by our team.
