Pets During Your Stay

If you're traveling with a pet, be sure to follow your host's pet policies throughout your stay. Pet rules vary by property and are established by each individual host.

Before You Arrive

Before bringing a pet to the property:

  • Review the property's pet policy.

  • Confirm that your reservation includes any approved pets.

  • Review any applicable pet fees or restrictions.

  • Contact your host if you have questions before arrival.

Pets that have not been approved by the host should not be brought to the property.

During Your Stay

To help ensure a positive experience for everyone, we recommend that you:

  • Follow all House Rules related to pets.

  • Clean up after your pet.

  • Keep pets under control at all times.

  • Respect community rules and shared spaces.

  • Be mindful of noise and neighboring residents.

If your property has designated pet relief areas or community pet rules, your host will provide those details.

Service Animals & Emotional Support Animals

If you're traveling with a service animal or Emotional Support Animal (ESA), please refer to Are Pets, Service Animals, and Emotional Support Animals Allowed? for information about property policies and applicable requirements.

If you have questions about your property's pet policy or experience an issue during your stay, contact your host through the Vidle Housing messaging system. If you need additional assistance, our Customer Experience team is available 24/7 through live chat and the Help Center.
