Guests During Your Stay

Whether you can have visitors during your stay depends on the property's House Rules and your host's policies. Before inviting anyone to the property, we recommend reviewing the listing and confirming any visitor restrictions with your host.

Can I Have Visitors?

Many hosts allow occasional visitors, while others may limit or prohibit guests due to:

  • Building or community rules

  • Occupancy limits

  • Security requirements

  • Property-specific policies

Always review the property's House Rules before inviting visitors.

Overnight Guests

If someone plans to stay overnight who wasn't included in your original reservation, you must obtain your host's approval first.

Unauthorized overnight guests may violate the property's House Rules or your reservation agreement.

Need to Add a Guest?

If your travel plans have changed and you'd like to add someone to your reservation, contact your host through the Vidle Housing messaging system.

Depending on the property, your host may need to:

  • Approve the additional guest.

  • Update the reservation.

  • Adjust pricing or occupancy, if applicable.

If you're unsure whether visitors or overnight guests are allowed, contact your host before inviting them to the property. If you need additional assistance, our Customer Experience team is available 24/7 through live chat and the Help Center.
