Visitors, Noise & Community Rules

Whether you're staying in an apartment, condo, or private home, it's important to follow your host's House Rules and any community guidelines during your stay. These rules help ensure a comfortable experience for you, your host, and neighboring residents.

Visitors & Overnight Guests

Visitor policies vary by property.

Before inviting anyone to the property:

  • Review the property's House Rules.

  • Confirm whether visitors or overnight guests are permitted.

  • Contact your host if you're unsure about the property's policy.

Guests staying overnight who were not included in your original reservation may require your host's approval.

Noise & Quiet Hours

Please be considerate of your neighbors and follow any quiet hours established by your host or the community.

To help avoid disturbances:

  • Keep music, television, and conversations at a reasonable volume.

  • Be mindful of noise when arriving or leaving the property.

  • Follow any posted community or building quiet hours.

If you're experiencing excessive noise from neighboring units or nearby properties, contact your host. They may be able to provide guidance or assist if the issue is related to the property or community.

Community Rules

Some properties are located within apartment communities, condominiums, or neighborhoods that have additional rules.

These may include:

  • Parking restrictions

  • Pool or fitness center hours

  • Pet policies

  • Smoking restrictions

  • Trash and recycling procedures

  • Building access requirements

Please review any information provided by your host and follow all community guidelines during your stay.

If you have questions about your property's House Rules or community policies, contact your host through the Vidle Housing messaging system. If you're unable to reach your host or need additional assistance, our Customer Experience team is available 24/7 through live chat and the Help Center.
