Canceling a Reservation Due to an Emergency

How to request a cancellation if you’re experiencing an emergency situation.

If you’re a host and need to cancel a reservation due to an emergency, we’re here to support you. Please contact Vidle Support as soon as possible with:

  • The nature of the emergency

  • The reservation ID

  • Any documentation available (optional, but helpful for review)

If your situation qualifies under our Extenuating Circumstances Policy, penalties may be waived, and the guest will receive a full refund. We aim to handle these situations with empathy and speed.
