Step 1: Log In to Your Host Account
Visit the Vidle Housing website and click Sign In.
Enter the email address and password associated with your host account to access your Host Dashboard.
Step 2: Go to My Listings
Once logged in, navigate to the left-hand menu and select:
Listings → My Listings
Here, you'll see all of your active and draft listings in one place.
From the My Listings page, you can make quick updates, edit multiple listings at once using Bulk Edit, or open the full listing editor for more detailed changes.
Step 3: Choose How You Want to Edit Your Listing
There are three ways to update your listings: Quick Edits, Bulk Edit, and the Full Listing Editor.
Quick Edits
From the My Listings page, you can quickly edit certain information without opening the full listing editor.
You can update:
Listing name
Pricing
Listing status, such as Draft or Published
Property type
Tags
Simply click directly on the field you'd like to change, enter or select the updated information, and save your changes.
Quick Edits are helpful when you only need to make a small update to a single listing.
Bulk Edit
The Bulk Edit feature allows you to update multiple listings at the same time, making it easier to manage several properties without editing each one individually.
To use Bulk Edit:
From My Listings, select the listings you wish to update.
Click Bulk Edit in the top-right corner.
Choose the information you want to update.
Enter your changes and save.
You can bulk edit:
Monthly rate
Cleaning fee
Pet fee
Listing details
Tags
Check-in instructions
Important: Changes made through Bulk Edit will apply to all selected listings, so review your selections carefully before saving.
Full Listing Edit
For more detailed changes, locate the listing you want to update and click Edit.
Clicking Edit will take you directly into the full listing details, where you can review and update all available information for the property, including:
Listing name
Listing title
Listing description
Space and access descriptions
Property and room type
Bedrooms, beds, bathrooms, and maximum guest count
Photos and video walkthrough
Monthly pricing and additional fees
Amenities and tags
Property address and location details
House rules
Additional rules
Check-in and check-out times
Check-in instructions
Make sure all information accurately reflects the property travelers will receive.
Step 4: Update Your Photos and Video Walkthrough
You can add, remove, or update your listing media at any time through the full listing editor.
We recommend regularly reviewing your photos to make sure they are:
Current
Clear and well-lit
An accurate representation of the property
Free from duplicate or misleading images
You can also add a video walkthrough to help travelers better understand the layout, size, and flow of the property.
If you've renovated the property, changed furniture, added amenities, or made other significant updates, be sure to update your photos and video accordingly.
Step 5: Update Your Pricing and Fees
You can update your monthly pricing and applicable fees through Quick Edit, Bulk Edit, or the full listing editor, depending on the type of change you're making.
You may be able to update:
30-day monthly rate
Cleaning fee
Pet fee
Vidle Housing specializes in mid-term stays with a minimum stay of 30 days, so your pricing should accurately reflect the monthly rate you're willing to accept.
Keeping your pricing current helps prevent pricing discrepancies, declined reservation requests, and missed booking opportunities.
Using the Pricing Calculator
Vidle Housing offers a Pricing Calculator that provides a suggested monthly rate for your property.
Many traveling healthcare professionals receive a housing stipend as part of their assignment compensation, and the calculator can help you consider a competitive rate for travelers searching in your area.
The suggested price is a recommendation only. You remain in control of the monthly rate you choose for your property.
Step 6: Update Your Amenities, Tags, and House Rules
Review your amenities and tags regularly to make sure they accurately reflect what's currently available at your property.
Common amenities travelers may look for include:
Reliable Wi-Fi
In-unit or on-site laundry
Fully equipped kitchen
Dedicated workspace
Parking
Air conditioning
Heating
Pet-friendly accommodations
Cleaning supplies
Linens and towels
You can also review your property's House Rules, including:
Smoking allowed
Pets allowed
Parties allowed
Children allowed
If a house rule box is checked, that activity or option is allowed. If the box is not checked, it means it is not allowed.
Use the Additional Rules section to disclose any other important requirements, including:
Quiet hours
Parking restrictions
Visitor policies
Building or HOA rules
Lease requirements
Additional fees
Other property-specific policies
Per the Vidle Housing Terms & Conditions, any additional payment requirements, lease agreements, or fees must be clearly disclosed before booking. Requests for payment outside of the Vidle Housing platform are strictly prohibited.
Step 7: Update Check-In and Check-Out Information
Make sure your check-in and check-out information remains current.
You can update:
Check-in time
Check-out time
Parking instructions
Building access details
Key or lockbox instructions
Door codes
Unit location
Special arrival instructions
If you manage multiple properties with the same check-in instructions, you can also use Bulk Edit to update the instructions for multiple selected listings at once.
Accurate check-in instructions are especially important for confirmed reservations. If access information changes, update your listing as soon as possible to help prevent issues when a traveler arrives.
Step 8: Manage Your Calendar and Availability
You can manage your property's availability directly from the Calendar section of your Host Dashboard or through your listing options.
From the calendar, you can:
View available dates
View unavailable or blocked dates
Manually block dates
Open previously blocked dates, when applicable
Select a start and end date to block a larger date range at once
View dates blocked through a synced PMS or integration
Keeping your calendar accurate is one of the most important ways to prevent reservation requests for unavailable dates.
If you decline a reservation request because your property is unavailable, you may be prompted to review and update your calendar.
Step 9: Managing a Listing Connected to a PMS or Airbnb
If your listing is synced with Airbnb or a supported Property Management System (PMS), certain information may automatically transfer to Vidle Housing.
Currently supported integrations include:
Airbnb Connect
Hospitable
Hostaway
OwnerRez
Coming soon:
Rentals United
Guesty
Depending on your integration, information such as listing details, pricing, and availability may automatically sync with Vidle Housing.
Important: Synced Information May Overwrite Manual Changes
If you manually change information on Vidle Housing that is still actively syncing from your connected platform, your changes may be overwritten during a future sync.
For example, if you rent your property nightly on another platform, Vidle Housing may automatically pull your nightly rate and multiply it by 30 to calculate an estimated monthly price. This may not always reflect the monthly rate you want to offer on Vidle Housing.
If you want to set your own monthly price directly on Vidle Housing:
Update your listing with your desired monthly price.
Go to Account → Sync Settings.
Lock Pricing to prevent future syncs from overwriting the price you set.
Depending on your integration, you may also be able to prevent other listing information from syncing.
Before manually editing a synced listing, review your Sync Settings to make sure your changes won't be overwritten.
Step 10: Publish Your Changes
After making updates to your listing, be sure to click Publish Listing so your changes are visible to travelers.
Before publishing, review your listing and make sure all required information is complete and accurate.
Why Is My Publish Button Gray?
If the Publish button is gray and you're unable to click it, required information is still missing from your listing.
Hover your cursor over the gray Publish button. The platform will highlight which sections or required fields still need to be completed.
Complete the highlighted information and return to the Publish button. Once all required fields are complete, you'll be able to publish your listing.
If you've completed all highlighted fields and are still unable to publish your changes, contact our support team through the Help Center for assistance.
Moving a Listing Between Published and Draft
Your listings may appear as either Published or Draft:
Published: The listing is active and available to appear in traveler searches.
Draft: The listing is not currently published or visible to travelers.
You can quickly change a listing's status directly from the My Listings page.
If you no longer want a property to appear in search results, move it to Draft. Before reactivating a draft listing, review all property information, pricing, and availability to make sure everything is current.
Tips for Keeping Your Listing Up to Date
For the best experience, we recommend regularly reviewing:
Monthly pricing and fees
Calendar availability
