Setup how your notifications work for your VMC account and users

Accessing Notification Settings

1️⃣ Click on your Sign-In Dashboard. Then, navigate to the settings menu located in the top-right corner.

2️⃣ Select "Notifications." This will open the notification settings page where you can configure your preferences.

Notification Methods

  • Enable or disable system-wide notifications.

  • Reset user-level notifications by toggling system-wide notifications.

  • To reset all users' notification settings, check ✅ "Reset all users' current notification settings to this" and click Save. Additionally, you can set up group notifications by creating a group with email addresses of recipients and enabling notifications for the group.

Notifying Visitors

  • Enable or disable notifications sent to visitors, including the visitor pass and visitation receipt.

Visitor Arrival Alert

  • Enable or disable notifications sent to hosts and other points of contact when a visitor arrives. Once enabled, the selected host will receive an email notification whenever a visitor chooses them. To enable host-specific notifications, open the user’s profile, navigate to the Notifications tab, and tick the checkbox for Email Notifications.

Troubleshooting Common Notification Issues

  • Verify that the email addresses are correct.

  • Ensure that notifications are enabled for the user or group.
