Supported Printer Connectivity
All supported printers offer LAN, WiFi, or Bluetooth connectivity.
Direct Thermal Printing
The Brother printers we support use Direct Thermal printing, meaning:
✅ No ink required
✅ Labels are required (Only DK-11202 labels are supported).
Visitor Badge Printing
Visitor badges print automatically when a visitor signs in at a VMC iPad kiosk.
Badges can be reprinted via the VMC web dashboard.
Staff Badge Printing
Staff sign-in is supported via the VMC iPad kiosk.
Badges can be printed using:
A connected Brother label printer.
Any network printer via the VMC web dashboard.
Printer Labels
✅ We recommend using official DK-11202 labels.
Aftermarket labels compatible with Brother printers may also work.
❌ Unsupported Labels
Brother DK-2201 and DK-2251 badges (included with the Brother QL-820NWB printer).
If you have these labels, please dispose of them and use a supported option listed above.
