Find an IP and MAC address for your device

Updated over a week ago

It's import to use static IP's / reserved addresses for your Visitu network configuration. Using only DHCP will create unnecessary printing problems as the Kiosk will be unable to print badges to a printer with a new IP address.

If you are troubleshooting or need to communicate with your IT team, you can find the IP address and MAC address of the Brother QL-820NWB printer by taking the following steps:

1. Press the [Menu] and navigate to the WLAN tab (using the ▲/▼ arrows and the [OK]button)

2. Press ▲ to select WLAN Status, then the [OK]button

3. Select “Infrastructure Mode” and press OK

4. Note the IP address as shown below and tap the down arrow to see the MAC address for the printer. If the IP address reads 0.0.0.0, the printer is not connected to the network please follow the How to: Internet Connection Set-Up for Brother QL-820NWB Printer guide.
