Understanding the Watchlist

The Watch List feature provides administrators with a tool to flag individuals for increased attention upon entering the campus. This is useful for addressing security concerns or managing specific cases.

Adding Users to the Watch List

  1. Navigate to the system settings and access the Watch List section.

  2. Click the "Add New" button to begin the process.

  3. Fill in essential information, including name, birthdate, and relevant notes.

  4. Specify who should be notified upon detecting this individual.

  5. Record the person adding the entry to the Watch List.

Watch List Details

The Watch List is presented in a tabular format, featuring columns like Name, Birthdate, Notes, Status, Who'll Be Notified, Added By, and Actions for easy management.

Status Overview

If the Watch List is empty, a notification states "Nobody is on the Watch List." Otherwise, each entry's status is clearly highlighted.

Adding to Watch List

  1. Click the "Add New" button in the Watch List section.

  2. A window titled "Add to Watch List" will appear.

Add to Watchlist Details

  • Name: Enter the individual's name.

  • Birthdate: Input the birthdate using the date picker.

  • Notes: Include relevant comments about the individual.

  • Photo: Attach a photo for identification.

  • Who'll Be Notified: Choose from roles or users for notifications.

    • Roles and users are selectable from a dropdown menu for ease.

  • Require Verification: Optionally, check this box for manual verification before badge printing.

Confirm and Save

After providing necessary details, click "Save" to efficiently add the individual to the Watch List. This streamlined process ensures effective management, enhancing campus security by promptly identifying and addressing potential concerns.
