Adding a Purchase in the mobile app is straight forward and you can also take a picture of the Purchase receipt straight from your phone. This means you no longer have to upload images to the desktop first to save on the Voly system.
To get to the Add Purchase screen on the mobile app you follow these steps;
Tap ‘Add Transaction’ on the home page
Tap ‘Add Purchase’.
Here is where you fill in the purchase details. The details required in the app are the same as in the desktop.
You have the mandatory fields of Date, Supplier, Due Date, Category, and Amount.
Under account, you will need to specify where the purchase originated from. Whether it is a purchase made with cash or a non-voly card.
If you want to add individual items to the purchase, you can 'Add Line' and split the items and their amounts. You can have numerous lines on a credit note.
You will need to add a receipt to the purchase by clicking the image icon on the bottom right-hand corner of the page. You can take a photo of the receipt, upload it from your gallery or upload a file from your mobile device
4. Once all the data has been inputted and a receipt uploaded you can click Submit
Please Note: If you have wi-fi any uploads will be seen both on the mobile app and the desktop straightaway. If you have no wi-fi the uploads will be seen on the mobile app but not on the desktop until you have a signal again.
