Is it your first time using our platform and feeling a bit lost? No worries! We are here to help!
After completing your initial Assessment, you will be redirected to your Home Page. At first glance, it may seem a bit empty, looking something like this:
Step 1: Navigating Your Home Page
To get started, we recommend adding Units or Courses to your Home Page. It’s simple! Click on the “Catalog” button at the top or choose the “Go to the Catalog” option as shown here:
Accessing the Catalog lets you select Units, which will then appear on your Home Page (Inicio) for easy access and progress tracking.
Step 2: Adding Units to Your Home Page
In the Catalog section, you’ll find all available Units, organized by level (e.g., A1, A2, B1) and sequence (e.g., Unit 1, Unit 2, Unit 3). While we suggest following the order of the Units, feel free to start wherever you prefer.
Voxy employs an immersion methodology, allowing you the flexibility to start with Units matching your assigned level and gradually explore others according to your interests and learning goals. This promotes a personalized and effective learning experience.
To add a Unit, click “See More”. This action will open the Unit and automatically add it to your Home Page. You can repeat this for as many Units as you like, but we recommend focusing on one or two Units at a time for optimal learning.
Learners have the option to add up to three Units to their Home Page to maintain focus and manage their progress effectively.When your proficiency level changes, the Units on your Home Page do not update automatically. To ensure your Home Page reflects your current level, you need to manually replace the old Units with new ones using the Catalog.
Tips:
Use the filter on the left side of the screen to browse Units by level.
The default catalog view suggests Units based on your current level, but you have the flexibility to choose courses that align with your interests or goals.
Step 3: How Units Work### Updating Your Content After a Level Change When your proficiency level changes, the content on your Home Page does not automatically update. To align your Home Page with your new level, follow these steps:
Open the Catalog page in your Voxy account.
Filter or set the Catalog to your current proficiency level.
Browse and select a course or specific material that matches your updated level.
Click to open or enroll in the selected course.
When prompted, choose the option to replace the units currently shown on your Home Page with the new material. By following these steps, you can ensure that your learning experience remains tailored to your current proficiency level.
Once you’ve added content to your Home Page, start by clicking the “Start” button to access a Unit.
This will take you to a detailed overview of the Unit, including its objectives, content list, and activities. To begin, simply click “Start Unit”, and then “Continue” on the overview page.
Step 4: Saving Your Progress
Yes, your progress is saved! You can leave and return to your Home Page at any time, and your progress will be saved automatically. Each time you interact with the lesson—whether by clicking “Continue,” submitting a quiz answer, or any other interaction—your progress is recorded.
Step 5: Tracking Your Progress
You can monitor your progress anytime on your Home Page. On the left side, you’ll find a section called “This Month,” which shows:
The total minutes you’ve studied
The number of Activities completed
The number of classes attended
Please note that this information resets on the first day of each month.
