No extension needed. Build your search on LinkedIn or Sales Navigator, copy the URL, paste it into Waalaxy, and the import starts. That's it.
Import from a classic LinkedIn search
Step 1: Build your search on LinkedIn
Go to your LinkedIn feed. Click the search bar at the top and hit Enter to launch a blank search.
Click People to filter by profiles.
Refine with filters: connection degree, location, job title. Scroll through the results. Not the right profiles? Add another filter to tighten the search.
Once the results look right, copy the URL from your browser's address bar.
Example
2nd-degree connections > Based in Paris > Job title: Marketing Director. A focused list you can start a campaign on today.
Step 2: Import into Waalaxy
Go to the Prospects tab in Waalaxy.
Click Import Prospects.
Select Import via LinkedIn Search.
Paste your LinkedIn search URL in the field.
Select an existing list or create a new one.
Click Import. The import runs in the background. Your prospects will appear in your list within a few minutes.
Import from Sales Navigator
Sales Navigator gives you more filters than classic LinkedIn: company headcount, the ability to include or exclude specific job titles, and more. The import into Waalaxy works the same way as above.
Step 1: Build your search on Sales Navigator
Go to the Sales Navigator homepage and launch a blank search.
Apply your filters. Key ones: Current job title (you can include and exclude specific titles), Company headcount, Geography, Industry.
Scroll through the results and keep adjusting until the list looks right. Copy the URL from your browser's address bar.
Example
Job title: Marketing Director (included) + Assistant (excluded) > Based in Paris > Company: 50–200 employees. The include/exclude option on job titles is something classic LinkedIn does not offer.
💡 More import options
You can also import from a saved search or a lead list. Same process: copy the URL, paste it into Waalaxy.
Step 2: Import into Waalaxy
Same steps as for a classic LinkedIn search. Just select Import via Sales Navigator Search in step 3.
Limits & good practices
Classic LinkedIn: Waalaxy imports the first 1,000 profiles from your search.
Sales Navigator: Waalaxy imports the first 2,500 profiles.
Refine your search before copying the URL. A targeted list performs better than a broad one.
If a prospect is already in your list, Waalaxy won't import them twice. No duplicates.
If the import does not start, check that your URL is a valid LinkedIn or Sales Navigator search URL.
Once your prospects are in, head to the Campaigns tab and pick a sequence that fits your goal.
