🤓 Getting Started on Waalaxy
Monitoring my campaigns
When do my prospects get to the "Finished" stage?
When do my prospects get to the "Finished" stage?
Updated over a week ago

Let's look together at the point when your prospects reach the "Finished" step of the campaign, what it means, and take examples with the most used sequences of Waalaxy!

🦍 What are the different states of a campaign?

A campaign has several components, "steps" (actions), and "states" (what happens). We will focus on this last metric so that you can understand everything. There are 5 states in a Waalaxy campaign 👇

  • "In progress": the campaign has been launched and is currently progressing.

  • "Paused": the campaign was active and has been paused. It appears in the "Campaign" section, "Paused". The actions are paused.

  • "Replied": concerns all prospects who have responded to a connection note, a message, or an email in the campaign. As soon as they respond, they automatically exit the campaign.

  • "Blocked": you launched a campaign with your Business trial period, it ended, and you no longer have the appropriate subscription.

  • "Finished": the prospect has reached the end of the campaign, they have received all the actions they were supposed to receive and have exited it.

We will specify the last case. ⬇️

🦧 What does "Finished" exactly mean?

If you have prospects at the "Finished" step in your campaign, it does not necessarily mean that they have received all the actions of the campaign.

This means that, according to the conditions and deadlines provided by the campaign, they have received everything they were supposed to receive according to their case.

🐶 In which cases does the prospect exit in "Finished"?

A prospect exits a campaign in the "Finished" state if:

  • they did not respond to the pending invitation within the time allotted by the campaign. (the planned message cannot be sent as a result)

  • they responded to a connection note, message, or email. (the next actions are not sent if a prospect responded)

  • during a sequence with an "Email finder" action, the enrichment did not find the email. (the prospect exits as "Email not found")

🐺 Where can I see it in Waalaxy?

You can track the progress of your prospects' state from the "Campaign" tab and by clicking on your campaign.

You will arrive on the "Prospects" page from which you can view all your prospects. 👇

In this screenshot, 2 prospects have exited in the "Finished" state because they had "not responded" to the message.

You need to review the chosen campaign to see and understand the different paths your prospects can take.

🦊 Examples in Waalaxy sequences

Sequence "Follow-up - Invitation - 2 Messages"

<a href="https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/695739048/3cd51d13e17f2d1cdd0b1051/2023-03-21_14h49_02.png" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/695739048/3cd51d13e17f2d1cdd0b1051/2023-03-21_14h49_02.png</a>

Here is how this campaign works:

  • A "Follow-up" action is sent

  • A delay of X days can be set,

  • An invitation is sent,

  • If the prospect does not accept the invitation within 15 days, the prospect will exit the campaign at the "Invitation still pending" - "Finished" step.

  • If the prospect accepts the invitation, they will receive a message.

  • If the prospect has not responded to the message, they will receive a second message. If at this point, they do not respond, after 5 days, they will exit as "Did not respond" - "Finished".

  • However, if at any point in the campaign, the prospect had responded to a message, they would have automatically exited the campaign at the "Replied" - "Finished" step.
