What’s the “Clean my import” feature? ✨
What are false positives?
False positives are prospects that appear in your search results but do not match your specified criteria.
The "Clean my import" feature is designed to improve the quality of your import results from LinkedIn or Sales Navigator by excluding these false positives.
How doest it work?
Waalaxy compares the keywords you've searched for with the current position and headline of the results proposed by LinkedIn.
Prospects whose job titles do not contain all your keywords are identified as false positives and are not imported.
Your keyword is searched in the “Job Title” and “Headline” sections of the LinkedIn profile only 🔎.
This excludes past experiences, posts, comments, etc. 🖊️
Word order doesn't matter.
Accents don't count.

If you're looking for "Full Stack Developers", Waalaxy won't import "Web Developers" or former developers, which will be automatically filtered out as false positives. 🤓
Waalaxy will only import profiles that have exactly the term "Full stack developer".
💡 Good to know
If you get a lot of false positives, it may be that your search includes words or characters that aren't present in most profiles. This often happens with:
Quotation marks
Plural words
Boolean operators (AND, OR)
Words unrelated to the job (e.g., man, woman, France, young)
To reduce false positives, consider simplifying and refining your search criteria. Remove unnecessary characters and focus on keywords directly related to the job titles you're targeting.
The Import cleaning option remains optional, you can disable it when importing via with the ⚙️ icon. 👇😊
What’s the “Clean my list” feature? ✨
The "Clean my list" feature helps you refine your prospect list by addressing the inaccuracy of LinkedIn search results.
How does it work?
From each list, you can use the Clean My List button to select job titles that truly interest you.
Waalaxy will suggest deleting the prospects that don't match your specified job titles.
💡 Good to know
There will be a confirmation page showing how many prospects will be deleted.
This action is reversible upon request to support. 🦸♀️
