The Walkies Journal app connects to your pet sitter with a link they send you. Here's how it works, whether you're new to your pet sitter or they've already added you.
Connect with your pet sitter's link
Ask your pet sitter to send you a connect link, by text, email or however they like.
On your phone, tap the link. If you don't have the app yet, download Walkies Journal and sign in. The link waits for you.
Follow the steps on screen.
You'll see You're connected. Tap Great to start.
If you're new to your pet sitter
The link asks you to fill in your details first: your First name and Last name (required), then your email, phone number, address and emergency contact, and any questions your pet sitter asks. Tap Connect.
If your pet sitter has already added you
You're connected straight away. If you're the second owner and your pet sitter doesn't have your name yet, you're asked for it.
After connecting
If your pet sitter hasn't added your pets, you're asked to Add your pets. See How do I add a pet?
The app asks about push notifications. See How do I choose my notifications?
Good to know
Each link works once, and only for 30 days. If it's been used or it's old, ask your pet sitter for a new one.
There's no code to type in. The link is the only way to connect.
Two owners can connect to the same household, each with their own account and their own link.
