Here's how to delete your Walkies Journal account and your data.
Delete your account
On Home, tap the settings button at the top right.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
Tap Delete account, then confirm.
Sign in again to confirm it's you: with Apple, Google, or your email and password.
Your account is deleted, and the app goes back to the start.
Deleting the app doesn't delete your account
Deleting Walkies Journal from your phone doesn't delete your account. Your account, pets and history are kept safely on our servers, not on your phone.
When you reinstall the app, sign in the same way as before (with Apple, Google, or your email and password) and everything is still there. If the app looks empty, check you signed in the same way: signing in with Apple instead of Google, for example, creates a separate, new account.
Only Delete account deletes your account.
Good to know
This can't be undone.
It unlinks you from your pet sitter. They keep their own records of you and your pets.
To change pet sitter instead, you don't need to delete your account. See How do I switch to a new pet sitter?
If you're not connected yet, tap the ... button on the Connect screen and choose Delete account.
