What we import
Clients: names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, access information, emergency contacts, a second owner and notes.
Pets: names, breed, birthday, gender, weight, vet details, and medical, food and vaccination notes.
What comes across depends on what your old app lets you export.
Services, appointments and invoices aren't part of the import. You set those up in Walkies.

Imported clients aren't connected to the Walkies Journal app yet. Send each one a connect link so they can follow walks, see reports, book and pay. See How do I connect a client to the Walkies Journal app?
Running both apps for a while
You don't have to switch over in one day. You can set up Walkies while you finish the bookings you already have in your old app.
Book new and regular appointments in Walkies, so they're all in one place from then on.
Check which messages your clients get from Walkies, so they don't hear the same thing from both apps. See How do I choose which notifications all my clients get?
If your old bookings are in your phone's calendar, turn on Import Apple Calendar events in Menu > Your app settings > Appointment syncing to see them in Walkies.
