How do I send a GIF to my pet sitter?

Search for a GIF, or pick one from your library, and send it in Messages.

Here's how to send your pet sitter a GIF in the Walkies Journal app.

Search for a GIF

  1. Tap Messages.

  2. Tap + to the left of the message box.

  3. Tap GIF.

  4. GIFs opens with popular GIFs. To find one, tap Search KLIPY and type what you're looking for, like "happy dog".

  5. Tap the GIF you want. It appears inside the message box.

  6. Type a message to go with it if you like, and tap the send button.

Send a GIF from your library

  1. In Messages, tap + to the left of the message box.

  2. Tap Choose from library and pick the GIF.

  3. Tap the send button.

It's sent as a GIF, so it keeps moving.

Good to know

  • GIFs play on their own in your messages.

  • Scroll down in GIFs to see more. If nothing matches, you'll see No GIFs found.

  • To leave GIFs without picking one, tap the close button at the top left.

  • You can send up to 4 photos, videos or GIFs in one message. Tap the x on one in the message box to take it out.

  • If there's no +, your pet sitter's plan doesn't include GIFs in messages. See Can I send photos, videos and GIFs to my pet sitter?

  • GIFs in messages are removed after 30 days, like photos and videos.

  • GIF search is powered by KLIPY.
