Add and Edit a Studio Location

Adding your studio location(s) and location details in Walla is not only important for your clients—but is needed to create and schedule classes, appointments, and enrollments. Located on the main navigation, Locations gives you a simple overview of your active (and inactive) studio location(s), address, and contact information.

Please reach out to billing@hellowalla.com before adding additional locations that are not included in your Walla contract subscription.

Things to Know

  • The contact information here is what is included on receipts sent from your business and other communications.

  • If another studio location has already been created and assigned to a class or enrollment, you can view the class under the Classes section, choose the drop-down arrow next to the location name, and select + Add a location.

Add a Location

Featured on the main screen of the Locations tab, the Add New Location prompt enables you to add all the details needed for a new studio location listing within your Walla software. At least one location will need to be added to your studio to schedule classes, enrollments, and appointments.

Primary Information

Add business details for an individual location.

Name & Address

  • Location name

  • Address

  • Currency code (automatically filled in after address entry)

Contact Information

  • Location email

  • Phone number

  • Website URL

  • Social handles (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok)

Hours

  • Days of week and hours of operation

Payments & Amenities (optional)

  • Amenities: Child care, food & beverage, gear rentals, parking, wifi.

  • Quick Buy: Choose up to five retail items to feature on the main menu.

    • Retail/Products

    • Create custom categories for Retail/Products. Custom categories can only be created for Retail/Products.

    • Classes

    • Limited/Unlimited Plans

    • VOD-only Plans

    • Credit Bundles

    • Enrollments

Rooms

Add the room(s) in your studio location that will host classes, enrollments, and appointments.

  • Room name

  • Capacity

  • Notes

Photos (optional but highly encouraged!)

Upload photos of your studio location, classes, etc. so leads, and clients can get a better feel for what to expect when attending a class. Image formats accepted include: JPG, TIFF, PNG, PDF.

Cancelation, Waitlist, and No-Show Settings

If you have multiple locations you set Waitlist Settings, Class Cancelation / No-Show Policies, Enrollment Cancelation policies, and Appointment Cancelation / No-Show Policies at a location level. Once you create your additional location, under the location select the Policies tab. If you have a single location, these policies are located under Business Settings > Classes / Enrollments Waitlist & Cancelation settings.

Edit a Location

After a studio location is added, it will appear under the Locations page. Choose the location you want to edit. You can choose to edit the following information:

  • Primary information

  • Services, Amenities, & Retail

  • Rooms

  • Staff

  • Policies

  • Photos & Videos

Any changes made to your location(s) will be updated in real-time to your Walla account.

Set a Default Location

If you have multiple locations, the first location you add to Walla will be the default location. If you want to change the default location, select the three dots on the Location tab and click "Mark as Default". Client and studio emails that are not connected to a specific location will contain the contact information from the default location.
