What do I need before connecting to LinkedIn Ads?
You will need Google Chrome, the Wallabi for Chrome browser extension, and a Google or Microsoft oAuth email address. For more details on getting started with Wallabi, see here.
How do I connect to LinkedIn Ads?
From your insight feed, select the hamburger menu in the top left corner, then select "Data" to navigate to your Data Management tab.
Select "Add data" at the bottom of your list of data sources, then select the data source you want to connect.
Be not afraid! Wallabi uses a third-party vendor called Fivetran to manage the extraction and loading of data into the Wallabi analytical cloud data warehouse. You are not charged for these costs. Select "Continue" to proceed.
Note: Sign in with the LinkedIn account that has permission to access data from the LinkedIn Campaign Manager accounts you'd like to sync.
Optional: You may choose to sync certain campaign manager accounts, reports, or define a custom historical sync time frame. For most customers, we recommend leaving the default values for these options.
After making your selections, click "Save & Test" to continue.
And that's it! Wallabi has started extracting, cleaning, and modeling your data for analysis. This can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours depending on the source system and your data volume. Sit back and grab a cup of coffee. Why does it take so long for Wallabi to gather my data?
Source systems like HubSpot, Salesforce, and others impose rate limits on their APIs. Depending on your data volume, this can significantly impact the speed at which Wallabi can move data.
What Linked Ads permissions do I need to connect to Wallabi?
To connect Wallabi to LinkedIn Ads, you need a LinkedIn account with at least Viewer permissions in LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
How often does the data sync between LinkedIn Ads and Wallabi?
Data is synced every 6 hours by default.
What happens to my data after my trial period has expired or I stop using Wallabi?
Wallabi will pause all syncs from the source system but retain any historical data already moved. You may continue to ask questions, but be aware that insights will likely not reflect the reality of your business until you subscribe and Wallabi updates your data.
