Fee for receiving money in your international accounts (USA and Europe)

Written by David Alfonzo Gauna Martinez

When you use your international accounts in the USA (ACH/Wire) and Europe (SEPA/IBAN) to receive money from abroad, Wallib takes care of:

  1. Receiving the payment in USD or EUR.

  2. Converting it to USDT.

  3. Crediting it to your wallet within the app.

For this full transaction, a total fee of 0.4% is charged on the amount received.

1️⃣ When does the 0.4% fee apply?

The fee applies every time you receive money through these channels:

  • 🇺🇸 US account (ACH / Wire)

  • 🇪🇺 European account (SEPA/IBAN)

Regardless of whether the source is:

  • A company,

  • A payment platform,

  • A freelance client,

  • Or a third party paying you from their bank.

Whenever money comes in through these accounts and is converted to USDT in your Wallib, the 0.4% fee applies.

2️⃣ What does that fee cover?

That 0.4% covers the service of:

  • Receiving the international payment.

  • Processing at the partner bank (USA or Europe).

  • Converting to USDT.

  • Crediting it to your Wallib wallet.

In other words, it's the cost of using Wallib's "international bridge" to bring money from abroad into your USDT balance.

Important: any additional cost charged by the sending bank or intermediary does not depend on Wallib (for example, fees from the bank that sends the Wire or SEPA transfer).

3️⃣ How is the 0.4% calculated? (Quick examples)

Imagine you receive:

Example 1 – Deposit from the USA in USD

  • You're sent: 1,000 USD to your US account.

  • It's converted to USDT and the fee is applied:

Wallib fee: 0.4% of 1,000 USD = 4 USD

The USDT equivalent you'll see credited will be the amount minus that fee.

Example 2 – Deposit from Europe in EUR

  • You're sent: 1,000 EUR to your European IBAN.

  • It's first converted from EUR to USD/USDT at the corresponding rate.

  • The 0.4% fee is applied on the final USD/USDT value.

If you want to know the exact EUR → USD/USDT rate before or after the send, you can check directly with Wallib support.

4️⃣ Where do I see the fee in the app?

When the international deposit is credited:

  • You'll see the USDT amount in your USDT pocket.

  • In the transaction detail you'll be able to see:

    • Amount credited.

    • Reference to the international deposit.

    • Amount deducted as a fee (0.4%), reflected in the net amount that enters your balance.

We always work on the principle of clear costs, with no fine print.

5️⃣ Summary

  • All deposits that come in through your US (ACH/Wire) and European (SEPA/IBAN) international accounts and get credited on Wallib: 👉 Pay a total fee of 0.4%.

  • The fee is applied to the value received that's converted to USDT.

  • Any additional cost from the sending bank is external to Wallib.
