US account: receive international payments directly into your Wallib

Written by David Alfonzo Gauna Martinez

Your US bank account within Wallib is a dollar account you can use to receive transfers from banks and companies in the United States via ACH or Wire.

Everything that comes in through it is automatically converted to USDT and credited to your Wallib account 💵

1️⃣ What bank details do I get?

In the "Deposit > My US Bank Account" section you'll see something like:

  • Account holder

  • Account number

  • Routing number

  • Account type: Checking

  • Bank (for example, Lead Bank)

  • Bank address in the United States

These are the details you should share with whoever is going to pay you, so they can send you a USD transfer from a US bank.

2️⃣ How it works in practice

  1. A company, client, or platform in the USA sends you a transfer in USD:

    • via ACH, or

    • via Wire transfer.

  2. The money arrives at your US bank account linked to Wallib.

  3. Wallib converts those funds to USDT.

  4. Within an estimated timeframe of 1 to 3 business days, you'll see the balance reflected in your USDT wallet within the app.

You don't need to open a traditional bank account in the United States or handle the currency conversion manually: everything is managed from Wallib.

3️⃣ Crediting times

Depending on the type of transfer:

  • ACH deposits:

    • Estimated time to reach the partner bank: ≈ 1 business day.

  • Wire transfers (Monday through Friday):

    • Usually credited at the bank in approximately 1 hour.

After the money arrives at the bank, the total estimated time to be credited to your Wallib is 1 to 3 business days, depending on the flow and validations.

4️⃣ Who can pay you to this account?

You can receive payments from:

  • Companies in the USA

  • Remote work / freelance platforms

  • Third parties who need to pay you in dollars to a US account

They can pay you in your own name or a third party's name, always using the bank details shown correctly in the app.

Everything always ends up in your USDT balance within Wallib, ready to:

  • Keep it in digital dollars

  • Convert it to BTC

  • Or sell it for COP and withdraw it to your bank in Colombia

5️⃣ Why is your US account useful?

Because it lets you:

  • Get paid in USD as if you had a bank account in the United States.

  • Easily connect international income with the crypto world.

  • Bring together your digital life (remote work, global platforms) with your local finances.
