Once your reviews have been synced from Airbnb or your PMS*, you can showcase that social proof anywhere on your site. This guide walks you through adding review sections to custom pages and managing which reviews your guests see.
*Note: PMS review sync is only available for Hostaway at the moment.
Prerequisites: Review Syncing
Before adding sections to your pages, ensure your reviews are flowing into your dashboard. Reviews currently sync via:
Airbnb: Paste your listing URL into the Reviews tab of each property (allow 24–48 hours).
PMS Integration: Supported providers like Hostaway sync automatically.
For a deep dive into the initial setup, see our guide: Boost Credibility with Review Syncing.
Adding Reviews to Custom Pages
While reviews automatically appear on individual property pages, you can also add them to your Homepage, "About Us" page, or a dedicated "Testimonials" page using the Page Editor.
Step 1: Open the Editor
Log in to app.wander.com.
Click Pages in the left sidebar.
Select the page you wish to edit.
Step 2: Add the Section
Click the "+" (Add Section) button where you want the reviews to appear.
Select Reviews from the section category list.
Step 3: Select Your Display Variant
Choose the layout that best fits your page's goal:
Variant | Best For | Description |
Reviews Summary | Homepage / Landing Pages | Shows overall rating, total count, and a curated list. |
Reviews Grid | Dedicated Reviews Page | A clean, multi-card layout that displays many reviews at once. |
Highlighted Reviews | "About Us" / Hero Sections | A horizontal carousel that spotlights top-tier feedback. |
Managing Review Visibility
You have full control over which feedback is visible to the public. You can "curate" your reviews to ensure your best guest experiences are front and center.
Hiding or Showing Reviews
Navigate to Listings in the left sidebar.
Select the specific property you want to manage.
Open the Reviews tab.
Use the Visibility Toggle next to each individual review to show or hide it.
Note: Hidden reviews are removed from all guest-facing pages but remain in your dashboard for your records.
Dashboard Sorting
To manage large volumes of feedback, use the Sort function in your dashboard to view reviews by Newest or Oldest.
Troubleshooting & Tips
Create a "Wall of Love": Build a standalone page (e.g.,
/reviews) using the Reviews Grid variant to give guests a deep dive into your hospitality history.Missing Reviews? Remember that initial syncing can take up to 48 hours. If they still aren't appearing, verify the Airbnb URL is public.
Count Mismatches: Sometimes the dashboard shows per-listing counts while your site aggregates all reviews. This is normal behavior as our system refines cross-property totals.
