What is a buyer controlled supplier

Suppliers are the providers of the products. Different from the standard suppliers, buyer-controlled suppliers must be set up by the buyers, who then manage the supplier's side on their behalf.

For example, if a supplier you're working with isn't tech-savvy, you'll need to set them up as a buyer controlled supplier in order to manage the order process on Warrior. When an order is placed, you'll be responsible for operating the supplier's system on their behalf.

How to set up a buyer controlled supplier

To add a buyer controlled supplier, you must have the access to the Management Portal.

  1. Navigate to the Buyer Controlled Supplier.

  2. Click +New to add a new supplier.

  3. Fill in the required information in the mandatory fields.

You will need to add:

  • Products by following this guide

  • Prices by following this guide

  • Delivery rules by following this guide

Once the supplier is added, it will appear in the Buyer Controlled Supplier section. Every time an order is placed, you can log in as the supplier and complete the necessary steps.
