A bag is considered overstuffed when it holds more than 1 load (based on a ...... machine).
This applies to both hamprs and kitchen bags.
🧺 How to identify an overstuffed hampr:
The bag is bulging on all sides
Clothes are spilling out or protruding when the top flap is opened
The zipper cannot close fully
The bag is difficult to stand upright
✅ A properly filled hampr should have clothing slightly above the top, but should zip closed and remain stable.
🛍️ How to identify an overstuffed kitchen bag:
The bag is difficult to tie or close
Plastic is stretched or tearing
Clothing is spilling out or clearly visible
✅ A properly filled kitchen bag should be full but not bulging, and easy to carry with intact handles.
