Prerequisites
Before you can add products/services there are a number of things you will need to do first (If you've already done these then skip ahead to Understanding the shop hierarchy).
Create your shop πͺ
There's a guide to doing that here.
Set-up payment gateways π΅
We have two payment gateways that buyers can use to purchase your products:
Stripe Connect for credit and debit card payments.
Bank Transfer for issuing purchase orders or paying directly into a sellers bank account.
Note: If you are on our Free Plan only the Stripe Connect payment gateway is available to you. Bank Transfer is only available to sellers on a Paid Plan.
Setting-up the Stripe Connect payment gateway means you have to complete Stripe's independent business verification process. We have to do this to meet anti-money laundering rules and it's a great way to give buyers confidence that it's really you. We give you a green tick that displays on your shop along with a credit card (CC) badge
when you've set this up so that Buyers can see you've done this.
Setting up Bank Transfer is super easy - you just have to add your bank account details under you seller profile. Once you've done that we'll add a purchase order (PO) badge to your shop.
Set-up shipping π
If you are selling physical products you need to set-up your shipping. There are two ways to do this:
Integrate with a shipping app that you use. We can integrate with ShipStation, ShipRocket, ShipEngine, Easypost and Aramex.
Set up Manual Shipping Profiles.
There is a toggle on the Manage Shop / General tab where you select the option you want. Toggle on to use manual shipping rates, toggle off to use a shipping app which you connect via Plugins/Shipping service.
We've got a great guide on how to set-up manual shipping here.
Enable Request for Quote (RFQ) module πββοΈ
If you do not want to display pricing for your products and services then you need to toggle on the Enable RFQ module setting under Manage Shop/General.
Understanding the shop hierarchy
There's a hierarchy of Product Options > Catalog > Inventory that you need to follow when adding products or services to your shop.
Product Options π
Product options are like t-shirt sizes (with options values of Small, Medium and Large) and t-shirt colours (Red, Black, Blue).
For physical products these might be pump capacities (20L/h, 50L/h, 100L/h). For services these might be source water types (Groundwater, Surface Water).
Warning: If you want your products or services to have options you need to set-up the options before adding your product or service.
Here's a quick interactive guide on how to set-up Product/Service options:
Product Catalog - My Products ποΈ
When you add a product or service it gets added to your product catalog. Once you've added something you can find it and edit it via the My Products button on the Seller Dashboard.
Shop Inventory π
In order for a product or service to display in your shop you have to add it to your shop inventory. Once you've added inventory you can find it and edit it via the Shop Inventory button on the Seller Dashboard.
Adding a Service
Here's an interactive guide to adding a Service to your catalog and shop inventory.
Adding a Physical Product

Adding a Digital Product
This is much the same as adding a service since there is no delivery. There is an added component of adding your digital files or digital links. We've got an article on it here.
I want to add A LOT of products/services
If you've got loads of products and/or services to add then we've got three ways to do this:
If you have a Shopify website we have a pre-built integration that will pull in all your data for an automatic set-up. Access via the Plugins menu item on the Seller Dashboard.
We have a .csv bulk import feature. You can learn about that here.
You can engage our team to do it for you for a one off fee, or if you are on the Premium Plan then our service is included.
