The Weather Feature on app.GreenCastConnect.com provides a comprehensive set of weather monitoring tools, helping you track key environmental conditions with precision.
Located on the left tab, this feature includes multiple customizable and real-time weather metrics to assist in decision-making for agricultural, landscaping, and environmental management purposes.
Analyze Weather Data in Data Explorer:
Weather measurements can also be viewed in Data Explorer, where you can compare weather conditions alongside soil sensor data, download historical data, and create custom charts for further analysis.

GreenCast Connect includes guided tours throughout the web platform. To replay the tours, navigate to Profile Settings from the left-hand menu and scroll down to Demo Tour.
Selecting Reset Demo Tour will clear your tour history and automatically replay guided walkthroughs as you visit pages throughout the platform, including the Turf Growth and GDD Trackers sections.
Interacting with Weather Widgets
Hover over charts and graph elements to view additional details and exact values.
Compare historical, current, and forecasted conditions directly within each widget.
Select configurable threshold values within supported widgets to modify alert thresholds.
Many weather widgets display:
Current Value – The latest measured or calculated condition.
Threshold – The configured value used for alerts and monitoring
Forecast – Predicted future conditions based on weather forecasts
Threshold-based widgets will automatically highlight when configured thresholds are approached or exceeded.
Weather data can also be analyzed in Data Explorer, allowing you to compare weather conditions alongside sensor data and other agronomic measurements.

Set specific weather parameters to receive alerts based on conditions relevant to your needs.
Track changes in weather patterns to optimize field management and operations.
Weather & Sun Hours Monitor
View current weather conditions, including temperature, humidity, and wind speed.
Today vs. Live Weather
Use the Today / Live Weather toggle to switch between forecasted weather conditions for the day and current live weather data for your location.
This allows you to quickly compare current conditions with the day's forecast to better plan maintenance activities.
Monitor daily sun hours to assess solar exposure.
Hourly Weather Monitor
Provides a detailed breakdown of weather conditions for each hour.
Helps in short-term planning and immediate weather-based decision-making.
Weather forecasts are available across multiple widgets, including extended forecast views to help support longer-term planning.
Ambient Temperature & Dew Point - Week and Day
Monitor ambient temperature and dew point over both daily and weekly timeframes.
Track temperature trends to identify fluctuations and seasonal patterns.
Monitor dew point conditions to help predict condensation and identify environmental conditions that may affect turf health.
Compare current conditions with forecasts to support irrigation, maintenance, and application planning.
Soil Temperature - Week and Day
Weekly and daily soil temperature tracking for optimal plant growth conditions.
Important for irrigation planning and managing soil health.
Precipitation & Evapotranspiration (ET) Monitors - Week and Day
Tracks rainfall and water loss due to evapotranspiration.
Essential for efficient irrigation scheduling and water resource management.
Relative Humidity - Week and Day
Measures moisture levels in the air over daily and weekly periods.
Important for predicting plant stress and planning irrigation needs.
Wind Speed, Gust, and Direction - Week and Day
Monitor wind speed, gusts, and wind direction over daily and weekly periods.
Supports spray planning and application timing.
Helps evaluate potential drift conditions and other wind-sensitive activities.
Wind Speed represents sustained wind conditions, while Wind Gusts indicate brief increases in wind speed that may affect spray applications and other outdoor operations.
Leaf Wetness - Week and Day
Monitor leaf wetness probability on both a daily and weekly basis.
Helps identify environmental conditions that may favor disease development.
Compare current values against configurable thresholds.
View forecasted leaf wetness conditions to support proactive turf and plant management.
Adjust threshold values directly from the widget as management needs change.
Sun Hours - Week
