Why it matters

Understanding which campaigns a contact is involved in helps you track engagement history, prevent duplicate messaging, and gain context before sending new communications. Reviewing campaign participation ensures consistent and relevant outreach across your organization.

Key Concepts

Campaigns Section: The part of a contact’s profile panel where all campaign participation is listed.

Campaign Link: A hyperlink in each campaign entry that takes you directly to that campaign’s detail page for more information.

Campaign Page: Displays all information about the campaign — including its name, message content, audience, and automation settings.

Step-by-Step: View Campaigns Linked to a Contact

  1. Open the contact profile panel.

You can access it in one of the following ways:

    • From a Conversation: Open the conversation and click the contact icon on the right-hand side.

    • From the Data tab: Select the contact and click the edit (pencil) icon.

    • From the Contacts tab: Click the contact’s name from the table view.

  2. Scroll to the Campaigns section.

In the contact side panel, scroll down until you reach Campaigns.

This section lists all campaigns the contact has been part of.

  3. Review campaign details.

For each campaign listed, you can view:

    • Campaign name (hyperlinked to the full campaign page)

    • Sender or owner (the user who initiated or managed the campaign)

  4. Navigate to a campaign for more details.

Click the hyperlinked campaign name to open it in the Campaigns tab.

You’ll be redirected to the campaign’s dedicated page, where you can view:

    • Campaign information (title, type, and creation details)

    • Target audience and segments

    • Message templates used

    • Automation and follow-up configurations

  5. Expand to view all campaigns (if applicable).

If the contact has been part of multiple campaigns, click See All Campaigns to expand the list and view every associated campaign entry.

Example

If a contact has participated in several campaigns — such as the example from A+ Staffing — the Campaigns section will show a condensed list. Selecting See All Campaigns reveals the full list of campaign names with links to each campaign page.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Review the Campaigns section before sending new messages to avoid duplicate outreach.

  • Use the campaign links to quickly assess message history and ensure follow-ups align with previous communications.

  • Combine this with the Activities tab for a full picture of the contact’s engagement history.

  • If you manage large audiences, periodically check campaign overlap to refine targeting rules.
