Why it matters
The Whippy mobile app allows you to view and manage campaigns while away from desktop. This helps you stay informed on campaign status, review performance context, and make quick updates such as saving drafts or sending scheduled campaigns when needed.
Key Concepts
Campaign: A one-to-many message sent to a defined audience through a selected channel.
Campaign status: The current state of a campaign, such as draft, scheduled, complete, or archived.
Audience: The group of contacts selected to receive a campaign.
Exclusions: Contacts intentionally excluded from receiving a campaign.
Batch sending: A sending method that delivers campaign messages in controlled batches.
Step-by-Step: View Campaigns on Mobile
Open the Whippy mobile app.
Tap More in the bottom navigation bar.
Tap Campaigns.
Step-by-Step: Navigate Campaign Views
Within the Campaigns screen, you can switch between the following views:
All campaigns: Displays every campaign in your organisation.
Complete campaigns: Shows campaigns that have finished sending.
Scheduled campaigns: Shows campaigns scheduled to send in the future.
Draft campaigns: Shows campaigns saved but not yet sent.
Archived campaigns: Shows archived campaigns.
My campaigns: Shows campaigns created by you.
Templates: Shows campaign templates available for reuse.
Use these views to quickly locate campaigns based on their current state.
Step-by-Step: View Campaign Details
From any campaign list, tap a campaign to open it.
Review campaign details, including:
Channel used to send the campaign
Campaign title
Audience and exclusions
Message content
Scheduling details, if applicable
Scroll through the campaign to review configuration and message content.
Step-by-Step: Create or Edit a Campaign (Mobile)
From the Campaigns screen, tap the Create campaign button in the bottom-right corner.
Select the Channel to send the campaign from.
Enter a Title for the campaign.
Select an Audience, then update to apply it.
(Optional) Configure Exclusions, including excluding contacts with open conversations.
Enter the Message content.
Use available tools while composing:
Attachments
Templates
Translations
Message variables
Signatures
Configure Scheduling options:
Set date, time, and timezone
Enable batch sending if required
Review campaign sending settings
Use the Save icon (floppy disk) to save the campaign as a draft.
Use the Send icon (arrow) to send or schedule the campaign.
Tips and Best Practices
Use Draft campaigns to prepare messages before final review.
Check Scheduled campaigns regularly to confirm timing and audience accuracy.
Use Batch sending for large audiences to control delivery volume.
Review campaign content carefully on mobile to avoid sending incomplete messages.
Use My campaigns to quickly find campaigns you created.
Troubleshooting
