Why it matters

Link tracking shows which contacts clicked or did not click the links in your campaign. These insights help you measure interest, identify high-intent contacts, optimise message content, and plan targeted follow-ups.

Key Concepts

Link tracking: A feature that records when contacts click links in your SMS or email campaigns.

Link clicked / link not clicked filters: Analytics filters that show which contacts engaged with campaign links and which did not.

Completed campaigns: Only completed campaigns display link-tracking results.

Step-by-Step: Review Link Tracking Data

  1. Go to the Campaigns page.

Navigate to Campaigns from the left menu.

  2. Select the Completed tab.

Open Completed to view campaigns that have fully finished sending and now display analytics.

  3. Open a completed campaign.

Click the campaign you want to review. This opens detailed results, including link-tracking metrics.

  4. Filter by Link clicked.

In the analytics view, select Link clicked to see all contacts who interacted with the link in your campaign message.

Use this list to understand engagement and identify interested contacts.

  5. Filter by Link not clicked.

Select Link not clicked to see contacts who did not click the link.

This helps you identify potential follow-up opportunities or groups that may need different messaging.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Use link tracking together with audience filters to identify high-intent segments.

  • Follow up with contacts who clicked links using targeted campaigns or automations.

  • Review link performance across multiple campaigns to refine message structure and link placement.

  • Ensure link tracking is enabled in Schedule and settings before sending a campaign.
