With Whippy, you can create a personal signature that can be automatically or manually added to all your outgoing messages. Follow these detailed steps to create and use a signature:
1. Navigate to your Inbox
Go to the Whippy Inbox by clicking https://app.whippy.co/inbox/all/open. This will take you directly to your list of all conversations.
2. Select a Conversation
Open the conversation where you want to add a signature. This will allow you to see how the signature appears in the context of a real conversation.
3. Click the Signature Icon
Locate the signature icon in the conversation window. This icon is your gateway to creating and managing your signatures.
4. Add a New Signature
Select the "Add Signature" option. This will open a new window where you can create a signature.
5. Name Your Signature
Provide a unique name for your signature. Naming your signature helps you easily identify it later, especially if you have multiple signatures saved on your account.
6. Compose Your Signature
Enter the text you want to use as your signature. For example, it can be your digital business card β including your name, title, contact information, and any other details you want to include with every message.
7. Set User Permissions
Change the permission setting to "User" to make the signature available only to your account. This ensures that your personal signature is not used by other team members. Or you choose any other option that fits your needs.
8. Save the Signature
Click "Save Signature" to save your new signature. This action will store your signature in the system so you can use it in future messages.
9. Select Your Signature
Click the signature icon again and choose the signature you want to use from the list of saved signatures. This will attach the selected signature to your current message.
10. Send Your Message
Write your message as you normally would and send it. Your selected signature will be automatically appended to the end of your message.
π‘Tip: If you want to cancel the use of the signature that is active at this moment, simply click the signature icon once more, and it will be removed from your message.

Edit your Signature
If you want to delete or change your signature somehow. You can do it in a couple of clicks:
1. Choose the Edit Option
Click the icon next to your signature to open an edit window.
2. Done. You can Edit your Signature
You can edit any element of your signature to update it or even delete.
Automatic Signature
You can set your signature to the automatic mode so it will be applied to all your messages.
1. Navigate to Settings
Click on the gear icon in the header.
2. Navigate to Signatures Settings
Click on the Signatures option in the left sidebar.
3. Set as Default Signature:
Click the switch next to the signature to enable it as your default. This will ensure your default signature is automatically added to all outgoing messages.
