Whippy allows you to send messages translated into various languages using our advanced AI translation feature. Follow these steps to send a translated message:
1. Navigate to your Inbox
Go to the Whippy Inbox by clicking https://app.whippy.co/inbox/all/open. This will take you directly to your list of all conversations.
2. Select the Conversation or Contact
Use the search bar or scroll through your conversations to find and select the conversation or contact to whom you want to send a translated message.
3. Type Your Message
Enter your message in the message input field.
4. Click the Translate Button
Instead of clicking send, click the "Translate Message" button.
5. Choose the Translation Language
In the "Translation Language" dropdown menu, select the language you want to translate your message into. The translation language is set to English by default, but you can choose from other available languages.
💡Note: After you change the translation language, this setting will be applied to all messages in this conversation from that moment meaning all incoming and upcoming messages will be translated automatically. You can change it back anytime in the conversation settings.
6. Send the Translated Message
Click the "Send Translated Message" button to send your translated message.
7. Message Sent Confirmation
Your translated message has been sent successfully.
💡Tip: On your end, you will see both the translated and the original messages. The recipient will see the translated version only.
Translation Settings in Conversations:
You can change and customize your language translation settings for specific conversations. Follow these steps to learn:
1. Click the Translate Icon
On the right side of the conversation, click the translate icon.
2. Modify the Contact's Language
Under Contact's Language, change the setting to English to disable automatic translation for incoming messages, or choose a different language.
3. Select the Desired Language
From the dropdown menu, pick English or another language. You can use the search bar to make it faster.
4. Save Your Language Settings
Confirm the changes by clicking Save Language Settings.
