Forgot your password? Here's how to reset it

In this article, you'll learn how to reset your Wickie password on web and in the app.

Written by Marius Wickie Support

What you'll need

  • Access to the inbox of the email address linked to your Wickie account

  • A new password ready to go (or just make one up on the spot — your call)

Reset your password on the Wickie web platform

  1. Head to the Wickie login page at wickie.io

  2. Under the login field, find "Forgot your password? Recover" and click Recover

  3. Enter the email address linked to your Wickie account

  4. Click Reset to kick off the process

  5. Check your inbox for an email from Wickie

  6. Open it and click the password reset link inside

  7. Set your new password and hit Update Password — then log in as usual

Reset your password in the Wickie app

  1. On the login screen, tap Forgot password?

  2. Enter the email address linked to your Wickie account

  3. Tap Continue

  4. Check your inbox for an email from Wickie

  5. Open it and tap the password reset link inside

  6. Set your new password and tap Update Password — you're back in

⏱️ Note: The reset link is only valid for a limited time. Complete the process promptly after receiving the email.

The reset email isn't coming through?

It happens. Run through these quick checks:

  • Look in Spam, Junk, and Promotions. Reset emails love hiding there

  • Double-check the email address you entered. A small typo is the most common culprit

  • Give it a couple of minutes. Mail can lag during busy periods

  • Try the reset again. If the address looks right, just run it once more

  • Heads up on t-mobile.de: our emails don't reliably reach those addresses — if that's your inbox, update your email address first

Reset still not working? Clear your browser cache

If the reset link opens but nothing happens — or the page behaves unexpectedly — cached data in your browser is often the reason. Here's how to clear it:

Google Chrome

  1. Click the three dots (⋮) in the top right corner

  2. Go to Settings → Privacy and Security → Clear Browsing Data

  3. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files

  4. Click Clear data and restart your browser

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the three dots (⋯) in the top right corner

  2. Go to Settings → Privacy, Search and Services → Clear Browsing Data

  3. Click Choose what to clear

  4. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files

  5. Click Clear now and restart your browser

Safari

  1. Click Safari in the top menu bar

  2. Go to Settings → Privacy

  3. Click Manage Website Data

  4. Click Remove All and confirm

  5. Restart your browser and try again

Once cleared, go back to wickie.io and run the password reset from the beginning.
