Google Benchmark - Review Collection Policies

Changes have been made early March 2023 to our Google benchmarking tools to meet your growing expectations for this feature and to significantly improve data reliability.

We are proud to offer the most advanced benchmarking solution on the market, and have mobilized our teams to drastically improve it.

The benchmark is a very complex product: we have to browse up to 500K competitors' Google pages continuously, and collect their reviews. Everything can not be done at the same time and the data collection may not work on some establishments.

From March 2023, we have implemented a new approach, which will aim to show you more reliable monthly data:

  • Data for a month will only be displayed on the 8th of the following month. (Example: If it is March 7th, the data will be displayed until January 31st / If it is March 8th, the data will be displayed until February 28th)

  • Reports will only be sent once all the competitors have been browsed, between the 8th and 11th of each month.

  • Competitors whose reviews could not be collected will no longer be ranked and the date of last update will be displayed transparently. Warnings / information points will be displayed on the reports and on the platform when a data retrieval error has occurred (via a small orange i to indicate the errors on the platform and a grey legend on the rankings in the reports)

In this way: we only display the statistics when we are sure about the reviews' collection success, allowing you to make decisions based on reliable data.
