You can make changes to individual fields on a form by accessing the “Edit Fields” page for any given form:
Once you click “edit” on a given field on your form, you’ll see options to change the way the field presents to an onboardee:
The three most common fields on the above page that administrators edit are:
The “Field Label.” This is essentially the question you’re asking an onboardee.
The “Field Description.” This is your best opportunity to provide help text to your onboardee for completing this specific field.
The “Required” checkbox. Checking this box makes it impossible for an onboardee to submit the associated form without completing this field.
HEADS UP! Read these disclaimers below on making changes other than the three most commonly listed types above.
1. “Field Type” locks when a field is created. If changing the Field Type is essential, read this article .
2. “PDF Field Name”, if applicable on the form field you’re editing, is the code written on the associated PDF document that tells WorkBright where on the onboardee’s submission to map his or response to this particular question. It is NOT RECOMMENDED that you edit this field as it will disrupt the mapping process. If in doubt, contact support@workbright.com.
3. If the field you’ve chosen to edit is a Radio Button or Dropdown field that includes a picklist of choices as seen here,
