Creating an E-Verify Account to Integrate to WorkBright

Do I need to create a new E-verify account or can I use one I already have to integrate with my WorkBright account? If so, how do I do create a new E-Verify account?

It depends! Follow these questions to see if you are able to use your existing account or will need to configure a new one.

Question 1: Do you have an existing E-Verify account either on your own or through another software provider?

IF YES: Great! You may be able to use your existing account, proceed to Question 2.

IF NO: You will need to set up a new E-Verify account. Proceed to the last section in this article, Configuring your new E-Verify Account.

Question 2: Is your current account web services enabled?

Follow these steps to check:

1. Login to your E-Verify account.

2. Click your name in the top right corner, click Company Account, and then Company Profile.

3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and see if "Web Services" is listed under "My Company is Configured to:" - it may contain other information as well, but you are looking for the words highlighted here in red:

IF YES: Great! You can use your existing account. Click here to follow the guide for configuring your current account and integrating it with your WorkBright account. You're done with this guide!

IF NO: You will need to set up a new E-Verify account. WorkBright's integration requires that your E-Verify account be enabled with "Web Services." Adding this on to an existing account is not something that E-Verify supports at this time. Follow the next steps to configure a new account with Web Services.

Configuring Your New E-Verify Account:

Note: Ignore the text on the email page about if your Company is already enrolled. You are ok to set up a new web services account.

2. *IMPORTANT NOTE* - Be sure to select Web Services - Employer as the type of account:

3. After completing enrollment and taking the 45-minute training course, click here to follow the guide for configuring your new account. If you already had an E-Verify account that was not enabled with web services, but you completed the training, you can call E-Verify and ask if they'll give you credit for the initial training course you completed.
