The Writable team is happy to help teachers and students get logged in to Writable via HMH Ed. Check out the video and resources below to troubleshoot some common login issues.
I can't see all of my HMH content in Writable.
If you're unable to see all of your grade level content in Writable, you will need to launch from Ed for each grade level you teach. Check out this article for additional guidance.
I do not see a 'Writable' option in my Ed account.
Note: Users with Administrator accounts in Ed will not see access to Writable. In order to view HMH content in Writable, admins will need to set up a teacher account in Ed and then launch into Writable. |
Depending on your school/district purchase, you may see a button labeled 'Writing Tasks' instead of 'Writable'. This button will take you to your Writable account.
If you do not see 'Writable' or 'Writing Tasks' in your Ed account, we recommend reaching out to your school administrator or HMH directly to ensure your licenses have been set up correctly.
Students do not see a 'Writable' button in their Ed account.
Some HMH Ed classes require teachers to choose their programs manually. If your students are not seeing either 'Writable' or 'Writing Tasks' options in their Ed accounts then follow these steps to make sure the correct programs have been enabled.
Students aren't able to load their HMH readings in Writable.
If students are unable to load their HMH assignments in Writable, it is likely that they have not launched from Ed or their Ed login has expired. Please have students follow these steps to launch from Ed once more and reload their assignments.
