AI-generated scores are now enabled on all Writable assignments unless your district disables this feature. Writable's GradeAssist helps teachers save time by using AI-suggested draft scores to support teacher feedback at the rubric item level. As always, teachers can adjust draft scores to their liking.

Once students submit an assignment enabled with GradeAssist, AI-generated Draft Score will appear to the teacher on 'Guide & Grade'.

AI Draft Scores for Short Response

  3. Next, click on 'Guide/Grade' in the left menu. If your assignment has multiple sections, you will see them listed at the top.

  4. Click on 'Next to Review' at the top to be taken to the next question that needs to be graded.

  5. For short response questions, you will see the AI draft score listed below the student’s writing. You can leave the score as is or choose a different one.

  7. Once you click 'Submit', select 'Done' to move onto grading the Extended Response.
