In-depth: Training Resources

How to attach downloadable resources to a training, including the new support for Markdown (.md) and plain text (.txt) files.

As you deliver your trainings, you may offer downloadable documents and resources to help your student take action.

Adding a resource to a training

  • Edit the Program in question, and go to Step 3: Add Course Content

  • Click on Modules & Trainings

  • Open the Module that contains the Training you want to edit, and click the ... menu to edit the Training, followed by the Edit button

Click on the Downloads tab

  • Click on the Add button

  • Enter a name into the Resource name field, and click to upload your file

  1. Click Save Changes to continue

  1. Your new resources will now be available to download for that particular training.

Removing a resource from a training

  • Open the Downloads tab, and click the Remove button

Uploading .md and .txt Files

You can now upload Markdown (.md) and plain text (.txt) files into your course, alongside the file types you already use.

This is especially handy if you give your students AI prompts. Rather than pasting a long prompt onto the page and hoping it copies cleanly, you can hand them the file to download and use as is.

There are two ways to add one, and you can use whichever suits the training:

  • As a downloadable resource. Follow the steps above to add it on the Downloads tab of your training, exactly as you would add a PDF.

  • Inside a training action. In the editor, press the forward slash key / to bring up the editor menu and choose Media Gallery. Upload your file there, then add it where you want it to appear.

Either way, your student sees a file they can download and open.
