Setting up the Rule.io integration
yayloh’s integration with Rule.io allows you to sync return registration and store-credit creation event with Rule.io to create transactional automations—like return confirmation emails, store-credits, and follow up campaigns.
Good to know: yayloh customers get access to a free Rule.io account to send yayloh transaction automations. If you are interested to set this up please reach out support@yayloh.com
How to Setup Rule.io Integration in yayloh?
Setting up the integration only takes a few minutes. Here's how:
Log into your Yayloh admin account with admin access.
From the left-hand menu, go to Settings → Integrations → Rule.io
Toggle the Active switch. A pop-up will appear asking for your Rule.io API key.
Create an API key in Rule.io
Open Rule.io in a new tab and:Log in with your admin account
Go to Settings → Developer
Click Create New API Key
Name it something like
yaylohCopy the generated API key
Go back to the Yayloh pop-up and paste the API key.
Click Save
Finalize the setup
Now, the integration has been created. Please reach out to the yayloh customer support team to activate it on our end.
Note: Please note that yayloh also sends return notification emails to customers. So if you plan to use Rule.io notifications instead of yayloh, make sure to deactivate the yayloh notifications to avoid double emails, as notifications will be coming from Rule.io moving forward.
What happens next?
Once connected and activated, yayloh will start sending real-time return events to Rule.io. This allows you to set up transactional flows like:
Return confirmation emails
Store-credit issued for discount vouchers.
