To generate a Shipping label via yayloh using your nShift account, you need to create a nShift API key and secret ID for yayloh. yayloh expects your nShift to be correctly set up for the kind of routes and labels you intend to generate.

To set up a Shipping carrier account in yayloh, send the following information to support@yayloh.com:

  1. Shipping carrier and exact service code names

  2. Example shipping labels

  3. Carrier rules

  4. API key & Secret ID (read below)

Credentials Specification:

Shipping carrier and exact service code names

Provide us the shipping carriers of your choice (DB Schenker, UPS, etc), their exact service codes in nShift (UPS Express saver is indicated by a code which is a shortened service name in nshift), and the Quick ID.

Example Shipping labels

To test the credentials at our end, send us one sample label for each shipping carrier which you want to set up. We can verify the shipping labels on your end.

Carrier rules

  1. Countries where we enable shipping label generation.

  2. Countries where we block shipping label generation.

Note: Check the countries listed in your nShift account set up. yayloh will be able to generate shipping labels only for those countries.

API Key

To connect to your nShift account, you are required to share an activated API key with the yayloh team. Follow the steps below to create one:

  1. Log in to nShift Delivery (former Unifaun Online) .

  2. Go to Maintenance >> API keys.

  3. Click New API key

  4. It should open the page below

5. Fill the form as shown below

  • Status - "Enabled".

  • Type - "Web service-anrop (REST)".

  • Note - Give the API a name e.g. yayloh

  • IP-address - leave blank

  • post - leave blank

  • Add Developer-id - Normally, the developer ID is your account ID. You can find it in your account profile in nShift Delivery (former Unifaun Online).

6. Click Finish.

7. The system will automatically generate the key consisting of an ID, a secret ID and a combined ID. It's the ID and the secret ID that you use to authenticate towards the REST API framework.

You can read more about it here on the nShift website.
