Invite a Team Member To Your Brand

Add team members to help manage your brand, events, and ticket scanning.

YourKind allows you to invite team members to help manage your brand. Depending on the role you assign, they can access the dashboard, manage events, or scan tickets at the door.

There is no limit to how many team members you can add, and a user can belong to multiple brands at the same time.

How to Invite a Team Member

Follow the steps below to invite someone to your brand

  1. Log in to your YourKind Dashboard

  2. Navigate to Administration in the left-hand menu

  3. Click Team

  4. Enter the team member’s:
    - Name
    - Email
    - Phone number
    - Role

  5. Click Invite

Once the invitation is sent, the team member will receive an email with instructions to join your brand.

What the Invited Person Sees

The invited team member will receive an email invitation from YourKind explaining that they’ve been invited to join your brand.

From the email they will be able to:

  • Click the invite link

  • Sign in to their existing YourKind account, or create one if they don’t already have one

  • Accept the invitation to join your brand

Once accepted, they will immediately gain access based on the role you assigned.

Team Member Roles

YourKind currently offers three team roles. Each role provides a different level of access.

1. Owner

The Owner role has full access to the brand and dashboard.

This includes:

  • Managing events

  • Viewing analytics and reports

  • Sending SMS and email campaigns

  • Managing team members

  • Updating banking and payout details


2. Admin

The Admin role has almost full access to the dashboard.


Admins can manage events, attendees, marketing tools, and most settings, but cannot modify banking or payout details.


3. Ticket Scanner

The Ticket Scanner role is designed for staff working at the event.

Ticket scanners:

  • Can access the Brand Admin section of the YourKind mobile app

  • Can scan tickets and view ticket activity

  • Can see tickets sold and attendee information

They do not have access to the dashboard and cannot view any financial information.


Manage Team Members

You can manage your team at any time from the Team tab.

From here you can:

  • Change a team member’s role

  • Remove someone from your brand

  • Add additional team members

Users can be part of multiple brands on YourKind, so removing someone from your brand will not affect their access to other organisations they work with.
