Collabs is a YourKind feature that enables event organisers to partner with other organisers, brands, or promoters to co-promote events. By collaborating, you can tap into each other's audiences, share promotional efforts, and sell more tickets collectively.

What Are Collabs?

A Collab lets the brand hosting an event invite other YourKind brands to be part of it.

When an invited brand accepts a Collab, their name appears on the event listing and the event automatically pulls into their brand page and event feed, including any version embedded on their website. Collaborators can view all event details, ticket sales, and attendee information, and they get shared access to attendee data. They also get access to tools like ticket scanning on the night. However, they cannot make changes to the event itself.

This is useful for:

  • Venues — getting full oversight of ticket sales, attendee data, and ticket scanning access without needing to chase external promoters for updates.

  • Co-hosts — giving a partnering brand visibility over the event and shared access to all data from their own dashboard.

  • Cross-promotion — partnering with another brand so the event appears on both brand pages and reaches both audiences.

  • Any brands working together — a simple way to share event access and attendee information with a trusted partner.

ℹ️ Note
The event always belongs to the brand that created it — they retain full control and are the only ones who can edit the event.

💡 Tip

Collabs are one of the fastest ways to grow your audience. Partnering with someone who has a complementary audience can introduce your events to hundreds or thousands of potential new attendees.

How To Invite A Brand To Collaborate

To invite another brand on YourKind to collaborate:

  1. Navigate to your event from the dashboard.

  2. Select Collab from the event menu.

  3. Search and Select the brand you wish to Invite.

  4. Enter your invitation message.

  5. Send the invitation.

Once you send the invitation the invited brand will receive a notification of your request on their dashboard.

⚠️ Caution

Agree on the terms of your collaboration before sending the invitation. Clear expectations around commission, promotion responsibilities, and timelines help ensure a smooth partnership.
