The guest list feature allows you to provide complimentary tickets to selected individuals — whether they are VIPs, sponsors, media, friends, or anyone else you would like to attend your event at no charge. Guests added to your list receive their own QR code for seamless check-in, just like a paid ticket holder.
How Guest List Tickets Work
When you add someone to your guest list, they receive a free ticket with a unique QR code delivered via both email and SMS. The guest is also automatically added to your audience database, giving you a complete record of everyone attending your event — whether they paid or were complimentary.
💡 Tip
Guest list tickets function identically to purchased tickets at the door. Your check-in team does not need to differentiate between the two — just scan the QR code as normal.
Adding Guests from the Dashboard
Navigate to your event or experience from the YourKind dashboard.
Select Guest List from the event menu.
Click Add Guest.
Enter the guest's name, email address, and phone number.
Select the ticket type you wish to assign (e.g. General Admission, VIP).
Click Add to confirm.
The guest will immediately receive their QR code ticket via email and SMS.
Adding Multiple Guests
If you need to add several guests at once, you can add them one at a time through the guest list interface.
⚠️ Caution
Each guest added to your list will receive an email and SMS notification with their ticket. Double-check the contact details before adding to avoid sending tickets to the wrong person.
Adding Guests from the Mobile App
You can also add guests on the go using the YourKind mobile app. This is particularly useful when you are at the venue or away from your computer.
Open the YourKind app on your phone.
Select the relevant event.
Tap Guest List.
Tap Add Guest and enter their details.
Confirm the addition.
The guest will receive their QR code immediately, making this a convenient option for last-minute additions — even on event day.
Managing Your Guest List
From the guest list view, you can:
View all guests and their details
Add more guests to the list if you wish to add additional people to the same list
Create a new guest list

Use the guest list strategically to build relationships. Adding media contacts, influencers, or potential partners to your guest list can generate word-of-mouth promotion and future collaboration opportunities.
