Hidden Tickets let you offer exclusive tickets to the people you choose. The ticket does not appear on your event page until the right code is entered, so your top customers, subscribers, or partners can access tickets no one else can see.

How Hidden Tickets work

  • Any ticket type can be set to hidden

  • Each hidden ticket has its own unique access code

  • The ticket stays invisible on your event page until the code is entered

  • Once unlocked, the ticket appears at the top of the ticket selection for that customer

  • You can share the code however you like, including SMS, email, social media, or through a partner

ℹ️ Note:
Hidden tickets are not visible to anyone who has not entered the code. Anyone who has the code can unlock the ticket, so share it only with the audience you intend. Each hidden ticket has its own unique code.

How to create a hidden ticket

  1. Log in to your YourKind Dashboard

  2. Create a new event or experience, or edit an existing one [confirm]

  3. Add a ticket type or select an existing one

  4. Toggle the ticket to Hidden

  5. Enter the access code for that ticket

  6. Save your event

How customers unlock a hidden ticket

  1. The customer opens your event page

  2. They enter the access code in the field provided

  3. The hidden ticket appears at the top of the ticket selection

  4. They select their tickets and complete checkout as normal

💡 Tip:
Skip the code entry by sharing a direct link. Just like promo codes, you can add the access code to the end of your event URL.

Example:
https://yourkind.io/e/event-name-12334b?discount=CODE

Simply add ?discount=CODE to the end of your URL to automatically apply the code.

When customers open the link, the code is applied automatically and the hidden ticket appears at the top of the ticket selection. This works well in SMS and email campaigns because there is nothing extra for the customer to type.
