How to Create a One-On-One Scheduling Page

Set up a personal scheduling page for meetings between you and one invitee at a time.

A one-on-one scheduling page is designed for a single host and a single invitee. It's the most common meeting format—ideal for job interviews, mentoring sessions, coaching calls, sales consultations, onboarding calls, and more. When you share your one-on-one scheduling page, invitees can book a time directly with you based on your real-time availability.

One-on-one scheduling pages are available on all Zeeg plans, including the free Starter plan. On the Starter plan, you can create up to 2 scheduling pages in total (for example, one 30-minute and one 60-minute page). All paid plans include unlimited scheduling pages.

Understanding scheduling pages vs. events

Before getting started, it helps to understand two key terms:

Scheduling page — the booking page you create and share with invitees. It defines the meeting type, duration, availability, and all related settings. You can have multiple scheduling pages for different purposes (e.g., a 30-minute intro call and a 60-minute strategy session).

Event (or meeting/booking) — a single scheduled appointment that occurs when an invitee books a time through your scheduling page. One scheduling page can generate an unlimited number of individual bookings, regardless of your plan.

In short: a scheduling page is the template; an event is what gets booked through it.

How to create a one-on-one scheduling page

Step 1: Navigate to Scheduling Pages in the left sidebar of your Zeeg dashboard, then click + Create new.

Step 2: In the event type selection screen, click on One-on-one.

Step 3: Fill out the basic details of your scheduling page:

  • Name — Give your scheduling page a clear, recognizable name. This name will be visible to your invitees on the booking page. Some examples:

    • 1:1 with Emma

    • 30-Minute Intro Call

    • Career Coaching Session

  • Language — Select the language your scheduling page should be displayed in. This affects the labels, buttons, and default text your invitees will see when they visit your booking page.

  • Page owner and primary host — Set who manages the page and who will be included in the meeting:

    • Page owner — the team member who manages and owns this scheduling page

    • Primary host — the person who will be included in the meeting

  • In a one-on-one event, the primary host is typically the same person as the page owner, but this can be adjusted depending on your team setup.

Step 4: Click Create to save your scheduling page.

How to configure your one-on-one scheduling page

Once your scheduling page is created, you'll want to configure it before sharing it with invitees. To do this, find the page in your dashboard and click on it to get into edit mode.

Inside the edit view, you'll find a left-hand menu with all the available settings sections. Here's what you can configure:

Base settings

Set or update the page name, URL slug, duration, language, and the meeting location or video conferencing tool (e.g., Google Meet, Zoom, a physical address). This is also where you can change the page color.

Hosts

The Hosts section lets you define who owns the scheduling page and who will be the host of the one-on-one meeting.

To whom belongs the scheduling page? — Select the team or individual who owns and manages this scheduling page. This is typically the team the host belongs to.

One-on-one host — Select the specific team member who will be included in the meeting as the host. Invitees will see this person's availability when booking.

In most cases, the page owner and the one-on-one host will be the same person. However, if you're setting up a scheduling page on behalf of a colleague, you can assign them as the host while managing the page yourself.

Availability

Define availability when invitees can book with you. You can use your default availability schedule or set a custom one specifically for this scheduling page.

Questions

Add custom questions that invitees must answer before completing their booking. You can make questions required or optional, and choose from different field types such as text, dropdown, or checkbox. This is useful for collecting context before the meeting — for example, the purpose of the call or the invitee's company name.

Notifications

Customize the confirmation message invitees see after booking. You can also set up email reminders for both you and your invitees, and configure a redirect URL to send invitees to a specific page after they complete their booking.

Payment

Require invitees to pay before their booking is confirmed. You can connect the payment provider PayPal or Stripe, set a price, and define the currency. This is ideal for paid consultations, coaching sessions, or any meeting where upfront payment is required.

When you’re in an organization, be aware that the owner must integrate a payment method for you.

Advanced

With advanced options you can fine-tune additional scheduling behavior, including enabling stack mode (back-to-back scheduling), language, hiding the page from your public Zeeg profile, locking the time zone display for in-person meetings, and choosing which calendar new events are added to.

Frequently asked questions

Can I assign a one-on-one scheduling page to a team member other than myself? Yes. When setting up the scheduling page, you can select any user in your organization as the page owner or primary host.

Can I create multiple one-on-one scheduling pages? Yes. For example, you can have one page for 30-minute discovery calls and another for 60-minute strategy sessions. On the free Starter plan, you can create up to 2 scheduling pages in total. All paid plans allow unlimited scheduling pages.

Can the same scheduling page be used for multiple invitees? Yes — each invitee books their own separate slot. A one-on-one event means one host with one invitee per booking, but the same page can be shared with as many people as you like. Once someone books a time slot, it becomes unavailable to others.

Can I set a maximum number of bookings per day on my one-on-one page? Yes. Go to Edit → Limits and set a daily booking cap. Once that number is reached, no further slots will be shown to invitees for that day.

Can I add buffer time between meetings? Yes. In Edit → Limits, you can add buffer time before and/or after each meeting to give yourself time to prepare or debrief.

Can I require invitees to answer questions before booking? Yes. Go to Edit → Booking form to add custom questions. You can make them required or optional.

Can I let invitees choose the meeting duration themselves? This is not available on one-on-one scheduling pages, where the duration is set by the host. If you need flexible durations, consider creating separate scheduling pages for each duration option.

Can I set how far in advance someone can book a meeting with me? Yes. In Edit → Limits, you can define how far into the future your availability is shown to invitees.

Can I block specific dates or times from being booked? Yes. Go to Edit → Availability and use date overrides to mark specific days or time ranges as unavailable.

Can I hide my one-on-one scheduling page from my public Zeeg profile? Yes. In Edit → Advanced scheduling settings, you can hide the page from your public Zeeg profile so it's only accessible via a direct link.

How do I share my one-on-one scheduling page? Once your page is set up, click Share on the scheduling page card in your dashboard. You can copy the link, generate a QR code, or embed it on your website. Read our article on [how to share your Zeeg link] for more details.
